[The view is dark. There’s heavy breathing for several minutes, then the sound of a knock on a door. Gottie lifts her finger off the lens of her phone camera, to reveal Rob Hennings opening the front door of his house. The image is slightly obscured by the edge of Gottie’s sleeve.]
Rob: I knew you’d come. I’m surprised you weren’t already here, fucking hiding in my attic or something when you got my message.
Gottie: Why have you asked me to come here? Do you just want to yell at me and steal my things again?
Rob: What the fuck have you done to Nathan? I’ve been searching for days. I know you’ve got him.
Gottie: I haven’t!
Rob: Tell me. Tell me where he is.
Gottie: I promise, I don’t know anything about it. I only found out he was missing when the news went online. You must know that, if you’ve been reading my essay.
Rob: You have him. Why else would you be trying to make the internet think I’ve killed him? That argument. Why did you post that?
Gottie: [panicked] They’re going to think I did it!
Rob: Why? Effie- Gottie- whatever your name is. Why would anyone think you’re involved? You’re no one. You’re nothing.
Gottie: You last saw him the night I took back my laptop, didn’t you?
Rob: The night you stole mine, you mean.
Gottie: Just answer the question.
Rob: [head in his hands] Yes. I haven’t seen him since. I don’t know what I did wrong. I thought he was cool with what I do. But now he’s – it’s all –
Gottie: You think that he’s left you?
Rob: I don’t know. Not anymore. It’s one thing to leave me, but to leave the show, too?
Gottie: Did he know about LiveJournal? About me?
Rob: He knew everything. He has for a long time, and he was fine with it. That’s what makes this so confusing. He’s just vanished. His phone’s off, his parents and sister haven’t heard a word from him. He’s walked off the face of the earth. You were my last hope. If you don’t know where he is either, then . . .
Gottie: I’m sorry. I’ve been looking, but I can’t see any trace of him online. I wish I could help. But he’s out of my reach, wherever he is.
Rob: Just… get out of my house. If you can’t help me find him, then you’re no good to me. I need to call Brad.
Gottie: I’m sorry. I just wanted to help.
Rob: You’ve ruined my life over and over again. Why couldn’t you just let me have this one thing?
Gottie: I’m sorry. I’m leaving.
Rob: Please look for him. Use your – internet searches. Find him for me?
Gottie: I’ll try. But – I’m scared.
Rob: Me too. We have to be careful.

BODY OF FAMOUS ACTOR FOUND IN CUPBOARD IN LA HOME 02/09/14
The body of missing actor Nathan O’Donnell was discovered in an LA home this afternoon by LAPD officers. They were responding to a 911 call from an unnamed party. The police haven’t released any details about the cause of death or condition of the body.
The 34-year-old British-born O’Donnell, famous for his role in hit RBC TV show Loch & Ness, had been missing since 28th August. He was last seen with fellow actor and close companion Rob Hennings, 25, who offered a $10,000 reward earlier this week for any information leading to O’Donnell’s discovery.
Nathan O’Donnell’s acting career included parts in Star Files and The Doctor and The Lady before being cast in the break-out role of Fang on RBC show Loch & Ness, alongside Hennings and Anya Saffitz (age 33).
The first series was described by critics as ‘The X-Files meets Supernatural, with all the makings of a long-running network standby’. It was one of the biggest success stories of the Fall 2013 season and Fang was an immediate fan favorite. #releaseFang trended on social media earlier this year after the character was arrested in a mid-series cliffhanger-ending.
RBC have yet to make a statement about O’Donnell’s death, or the future of Loch & Ness.

Actor Rob Hennings Detained by Police
The LAPD took Robert Hennings in for questioning today, in the wake of the discovery of his housemate and fellow actor Nathan O’Donnell’s body in a cupboard in his LA home. The police have yet to release a statement regarding the situation, but it’s believed they are treating the case as a homicide.
Nathan’s autopsy said he’d been dead for a week and died of internal bleeding to the brain from an impact blow. how long has it been since that fight he and rob had, that gottie heard?

Nathan O’Donnell v Robert Hennings
On 2nd September 2014, the body of one Nathan O’Donnell, a Caucasian thirty-four-year-old male was discovered in a detached house owned by Robert Hennings in Los Angeles. The autopsy showed death by skull impact, estimated to have occurred on or after the 28th August 2014.
O’Donnell was last seen with Robert Hennings on the night of the 28th August , allegedly engaged in a domestic dispute. Hennings has been arrested for murder after evidence was provided to the California police by an unknown source.

Gottie also being effie has been hinted at as a possibility pretty early, when a commenter asked if she wasn’t the same person who got exposed for plagiarizing some years ago.
The livestream makes me doubtful if Rob is really the killer, based on his behavior. Could be fake of course, but that’s my impression.

omg also when she said she used to ship Jayden and Lyra years ago…. effie wrote Lyden fics!! I was pretty skeptical that they were the same person but it’s really adding up. she must’ve been in shock that the person that ruined her livejournal days was none other than the famous actor from her fav fandom. but the way she introduced the “discovery” of silentwakes seemed so authentic. I wonder how she planned it out.

ok im now starting to think Gottie and Effie are the same person and shes trying to frame Rob for murder, her accounts are either fake or shes really the real Gotties mother or aunt posing as her and her sister in the comments too

Awww gottie might have murdered Nathan bc of some revenge for drama from their fandom days. The only other important person here is Brad who is much of a dark horse in terms of murder motivations. Could also be someone from rob’s criminal past (from a narrative standpoint it makes more sense for a murderer to be someone we know from early on so probably not some rando dude from deep web UNLESS they’re also an identity of an already mentioned character.)
I really doubt it was Rob, he was really upset with Nathan’s disappearance. He is an actor, sure, but dunno… People tend to fake their despair and grief differently… In a more subdued and passive manner.
It’s a fun story told in a fun way, that’s for sure! 😀

But why would she kill Nathan and not Rob? Ahhh!!!
But I think it wasn’t her at all! It wouldn’t make sense for her to do it unless it was accidental (It would make sense thematically if it was accidental! But dunno, my intuition says ‘no’, although my intuition could be wrong), as I see it.
Anyway, I should get back to reading instead!!!

I’m chewing drywall metaphorically I’m so intrigued and invested. I love how this whole time it’s been all insulated by the filter of it all being online and somewhat anonymous and these recent chapters have just been a slap in the face of just how real it is.
